WANGANUI CLUB ANNUAL MEETING HELD. .ELECTION OF OFFICERS. An excellent attendance of members was registered at the annual meeting •of the Wanganui Harrier Club last •night, Air. A. C. Bourgeois, the president, being in the chair. The annual report, together with the balance-sheet, which showed a subistantial credit, was presented and approved, members expressing satisfac'tion at the splendid result achieved by the management committee. The election of officiers for the ensuing year resulted in the majority of the iretiring officers being rc-clected, as •follows:—Patron, Mr. W. L. Young; president. Mr. A. C. Bourgeois; vicepresidents, Alessrs. C. R. White, A. G. iSeivwright, G. Benson, A. Weekes, E. Grant, A r . Stapleton and J. Crowley; captain, H. K. Johnston; vice-captain, A. Bourgeois; hon. secretary, H. Hopper; hon. treasurer, E. Gowan; committee, C. Weller, A. Powell, R. Edwards, A. Bevege; hon. auditor. Air. H. R. Mancer; coaches and trainers, L. •Roche, W. Vincent, E. Carde. J. Davis; delegate to sub-centre, Air. C. R. White. In a general discussion on prospects •for the 1935 season, it was intimated ■that the committee would consider •holding the opening run shortly after •Easter. Twelve new members were elected, •and the president congratulated members on the bright prospects ahead during the forthcoming season.
