LLOYD GEORGE’S PLAN
COMMITTEE TO INQUIRE ACCEPTANCE UNLIKELY LONDON March 19. The News-Chronicle’s political correspondent says that Mr. Lloyd George’s “New Deal” proposals will be examined by a committee consisting of Messrs. MacDonald, J. H. Thomas Walter Runciman, and Neville Cham-’ berlain. Since all these have publicly rejected the policy, the Government is not likely to accept the implications hereof and will probably try to show their own plans to meet the situation.
