DE HAVILAND AEROPLANES

SIX MACHINES ARRIVE. [ Per Press Association. ] CHRISTCHURCH, March 19. Six de Haviland Moth aeroplanes which will be allocated to New Zealand Aero Clubs by the Government on loan, arrived at Lyttelton to-day by the Rangitane, and will be assembled at Wigram Aerodrome. They are standard triple training machines with wooden fuselages and Gypsy Major engines. No information is available as to the allocation of the machines, but it is understood most aero clubs have made application. Allocation will depend on which clubs have the best claims. Decision rests with the Minister of Defence.
