INVITATION RENEWED HITLER RECOVERING WHEN SIR JOHN MAY GO LAST WEEK IN MARCH (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright! LONDON, March 10. Baron von Neurath informed Sir Erie Phipps, British Ambassador at Berlin, that Herr Hitler was recovering. He would be spending a fortnight in a watering place, after which it was hoped to arrange a date for the conversation with Sir John Simon, who is expected to visit Berlin almost simultaneously with the visit of Mr. Anthony Eden to Moscow. Baron von Neurath has invited Sir John Simon to Berlin between March 24 and March 30, provided that Herr Hitler has recovered. CHURCH IN GERMANY SYNOD PROCLAMATION. NEW RELIGION OPPOSED. Herr Bitier will be best man at General Goering’s wedding on April 11, which will be the greatest recent social event. JEWS RETURN TO GERMANY FINANCIAL DIFFICULTIES LONDON, March 10. I’he British United Press’ Berlin correspondent says that scores of male and female Jews who had emigrated since the Hitler regime, have been forced to return owing to the difficulty of obtaining financial help from relatives who have been imprisoned “for enlightenment and instruction and to cleanse them from foreign influence.” They have been told that they would be freed after instruction in the ways and ideals of the newjieich.
