IRISH FOLKLORE
COLLECTION BY GOVERNMENT. Received March 10, 7.5 p.m. LONDON, March 10. The Free State has appointed a commission to collect oral and written folklore, authorising an expenditure of £3250 over five years. Collectors will travel the country with machines recording stories, songs and old people’s recollections of Irish life, customs and traditions.
