HORSES FOR STATE COACH PRESBYTERIAN PROTEST LONDON Feb. 21 The moderator of the Irish Presbyterian Church has telegraphed to Mr Ramsay MacDonald protesting against the use of horses lent by a brewers’ firm to draw the Speaker’s State coach in the King’s jubilee procession on May 6. BROADCAST PLANS A VAST NETWORK LONDON, Fob. 24. The greatest broadcasting network yet created will relay the greetings of Britain and the world during His Majesty’s talk to his subjects all over the Empire on May 6. The Daily Telegraph says that 8.8. C. has planned a unique personal representative demonstration on the widest scale. It is hoped that as a climax the Prince of Wales at the microphone will ask Ilia Majesty to accept the Empire’s felicitations preceded by a comprehensive review of the King’s reign, on which Harold Tenipcrley is working. Spokesmen from the Dominions and •colonies will add tributes. In each case where possible the head of the State will speak, including Mr Ramsay MacDonald for Britain. His Majesty will commence al 8 p.m. Greenwich time.
