AUTOGIRO CRASHES

THE PILOT KILLED. LONDON, Jan. 21. The first autogiro fatality in Britain occurred when Flying-Officer L. W. Oliver, who was making his first solo flight, crashed at Salisbury from 2000 feet. The engine was buried hard in the ground and the fuselage telescoped.
