TRANSFER OF CATTLE

GRAZING IN THE NORTH. STOCK FROM WAIKATO. WHANGAREI. Jan. 17. A consignment of 25 trucks of ca/ttlc arrived at Kirikopuni this morning from a Hamilton dealer and a further consignment will arrive to-morrow, making a total of 500 cattle. These animals will be grazed in various parts of North Auckland, pending the return of more farourable conditions in the Waikato. Fortunately, North Auckland has an abundance of feed and although the past fortnight has been brilliantly fine there is yet sufficient feed for several weeks wdthout the need for further rain.
