ITALIAN WOMAN’S ACTION ATTEMPT TO THROW CHAIR [Per Press Association] WELLINGTON, Dec. 14. An Italian woman who lost a case in the Magistrate’s Court this afternoon created a sudden stir when she angrily picked up a chair and prepared to throw it across the room in the direction of tho opposing counsel. A Court orderly seized her and hustled her outside, where her shouts could be heard for some time after the case had finished. Her name was Maria Canal and on the complaint of Lucia de Santa she was bound over by Mr E. Page, S.M., to be of good behaviour for twelvi months.
