NEW CRUISER LAUNCHED
GERMANY SPRINGS SURPRISE Received Dec. 14, 11.5 p.m. LONDON, Dec. 14. The Daily Telegraph’s naval correspondent says: “Germany has sprung a surprise by launching the new cruiser Nurnberg, of which there was previously not the slightest inkling. The dockyards at Kiel and WUhemshaven and the ordinance plants at Essen and Dusseldorf are guarded as closely as they were in wartime. ’ ’ .
