INCIDENT IN A SHOP. CUSTOMERS KEPT AT BAY. During the busy shopping hours at Liverpool, New South Wales, recently a man entered a crowded local store, followed by his Alsatian dog, which squatted near by, while he made several purchases. The shop was crowded, and the man left the shop unnoticed by his dog. When the dog missed its owner it took up a position in the doorway watching people passing, and as a man attempted to leave the shop the dog, with a snarl, snapped at. his hands, causing him to retreat into the shopA woman entering the shop met the same challenge, and sq the dog remained in charge, keeping all customers at bay for more than 20 minutes until the owner, missing his dog, returned to search for it.
