SKIER INJURED

MISHAP IN SOFT SNOW. f Per Press Association. I CHRISTCHURCH. Nov. 5. Mr. Wilfred Burnett. Myhr, aged 27. a member of the Christchurch Ski Club, struck a rock, through falling on a soft patch of snow while ski ing at. Temple Basin. Arthur Pass, yesterday and suffered slight concussion, head injuries, and abrasions. 'l'he greatest difficulty lay in getting the injured man from the ski-ing grounds to the station, which occupied four hours, the‘country being rough and mountainous. The excursion train was delayed for 80 minutes to await the arrival of the rescue party. Mr. Myhr was taken to hospital here. His condition is satisfactory.
