The signatories include: George Ferguson (High Commissioner for Canada), George Lansbury (Leader of the Parliamentary Labour Party). George Arliss (the actor), George Drummond (banker), the Duke of Sutherland (who is chairman of the committee) and other Georges prominent in different walks of life.
