WANGANUI CLUB LEWIS DOUBLE SCULLS GOOD ENTRY RECEIVED A good entry has been received by the Wanganui Rowing Club for the Lewis double sculls race. Training will begin immediately. Pairs will not be allowed more than 20 minutes for training on week nights. Pairs are:— Durie (str.) and Gibbons. Nolan and C'harman. Burgess and Brookie. Robertshaw and Bourne. Clay and Hanton. FOOTBAL CLUB EIGHTS CHALLENGE TO WINNERS. Members of the Pirate Rugby Footbal Club eight-oared crew have issued a challenge to the winners of the Kaie-rau-Old Boys’ race next Saturday.
