An aeroplane carrying an emergency supply of tear gas bombs from Pittsburg to Rhode Island, crashed, and the pilot was killed. Three men were severely beaten and two automobiles wrecked, when strikers attacked guards in Pennsylvania. Disturbances also occurred in the States of Maine, Connecticut, Missisle sippi, and North and South Carolina.
