MEN’S SOCIETY CONFERENCE. { Per Press Association. I ROTORUA, Sept. 5. The Dominion conference of the Church of England Men's Society was in progress here to-day. and elected the following officers for the year: Vice-presidents, Archdeacon J. W. Russell (Oamaru) and Mr. F. Snell (Wellington); secretary, Mr. R. Liggins (Wellington); treasurer, Mr. J. W. Henderson (Wellington); Dominion council. Revs. C. Long, G. C. Blethwayt, N. S. Barnett and Mr. H. Robb (Wellington). Rec. A. J. Beck and Mr. D. Day (Auckland), Mr. A. B. Whyte (Hamilton). Mr. W. C. Collins (Christchurch). The president of the society is the bishop of the diocese in each district. A number of remits were adopted from branches, and addresses delivered by the Bishops of Waiaupa and Waika;o. Commander Brooke (Auckland) and Bev. O. S. O. Gibson (Tauranga).
