UP-RIVER ROAD SERVICE

NEW OFFICES IN THE AVENUE CHANGE EFFECTED YESTERDAY To cater for the demands of the ' travelling public and facilitate easy access to the central portion of the city, the up-river road services, operated by the Wanganui River Services, Ltd., have established an office and busstarting point in the Rutland Hotel Buildings, on the corner of the Avenue and Ridgwav Street. The change was effected on Monday and henceforth the bus for up-river will leave the new office daily at 3.30 p.m., and no. from Hatrick’s Motors. Limited, as in the past. It is the intention of the ’company to maintain its chief offices as usual on Taupo Quay. Provision has been made to have available at the new , premises all information relative to the attractions of the Wanganui River alley and the best means of access between the most interesting points . and the city.—(P.B.A.) <
