BROADCASTING EDUCATION
’J’TIE use of broadcasting to spread education is a legitimate use of this latest development of intelligence dissemination, and the excellence of the programme which has been arranged by the New Zealand Broadcasting Board reflects great credit on that body, and more particularly on the teaching prefession of the Dominion. The programme of lessons and talks commence at 2 p.m. on one day of each week, and this brings to each school that is equipped with wireless a trained lecturer in the subject which is dealt with. The programme is varied and entertaining and the broadcast talks are not only instructive but they are also highly interesting. This is excellent work and merits high praise.
