The advance in the price of gold, which at this morning’s fixing was 2d up at £7 Is 7d an ounce, establishing a new high record, is due to the movement of exchanges in the interval since Saturday’s fixing. The price included a premium of 2s 3d over the dollar at 4.98 7-8 d and of 6d over the franc at 744. STILL ADVANCING Received -Seot. 4. 5.5 p.m. LONDON, Sept. 3. The price of gold is 141 s 7d per fine ounce.
