TRAVELLER SENTENCED. 1 Per rregg Anaoclatlon. ) WELLINGTON, Aug. 22. Stanley Collins, aged 32, traveller, was sentenced by Mr. Page, S.M., to .14 days’ imprisonment when convicted on four charges of false pretences. The amount involved was £9 2s 6d. The magistrate, pointed out that accused had already been six weeks in gaol. Accused took deposits on rders for a tailoring firm, but the goods were not forwarded.
