WAGES CUT
CASUAL WATERSIDERS. DISCUSSION AT WELLINGTON. [ Per Press Association. ) WELLINGTON, Aug. 22. By six votes to five, the Wellington Harbour Board to-night rejected a motion moved by Mr. R. Semple that the 10 per cent, cut be restored to all casual waterside workers employed by the board. An alternative to restoring the cut was suggested by Mr. W H. Price, who advocated the establishing of the < bureau system of employing labour. (
