OPPOSITION TO N.R.A.
SENATOR BORAH’S CAMPAIGN. Received July 5, 11.5 p.m. WASHINGTON, July 4. Senator Borah, in the first of a series of radio addresses, launched a strong campaign against the N.R.A. and the new deal. He assailed the Government for “an attempt to fasten the stranglehold of bureaucracy upon Americans,” t and declared the people’s rights were in danger.
