CHILDREN’S AFTERNOON TEA PARTY
POPULAR LITTLE PERFORMERS. The programme provided by the pupils of the Wright School of Dancing for the children’s afternoon tea party at the Elrick to-morrow afternoon is an exceptionally good one. It will include Deryck Brown, Wanganui’s favourite baby boy tap dancer; Baby Jacqueline, well known for her song hits and dance numbers, and the baby chorus which assists her; Lola Bosher, who will suprise everyone -with her five-year-old lyric soprano voice: Yvonne Bailey, a character dancer of great personality; dainty' little Peggy Cutelli, Rosemary Field, Betty Crafar, will once.more delight Wanganui audiences, this time in a spirited Russian festival number; Shirley Crafar, in a clever soft-shoe tap dance; Warner Scott. John Goss, Lorna Reid, Teresa Griffin, Fay R jwntrec. and Betty Bosher, although less well known, will be seen in numbers which will make their name; Betty Price will give a dainty gavotte solo dance, which no doubt will fascinate her audience; Elspeth Hirst will be a success in one of the latest Imperial Russian ballet operatic solo dances, and add to the laurels She has already won by her adagio dancing; and finally, Audrey Thomas and Shirley Smith, who have both appeared successfully before the footlights, will once more win the applause of local audiences by a Hungarian duo of merit. Such an imposing list of merit as the foregoing ensures that the children’s tea party will be a memorable success-
