OBITUARY
MRS. MABY E. DUIGAN. The death occurred yesterday morning of Airs. Mary Emily Duigan, widow of the late Air. James (Duigan, formerly editor of the Wanganui Herald. The late Airs. Duigan was a daughter of the late Charles Broad. She was born in Williamstown, Victoria, and come to New Zealand in 1865. She was a granddaughter of Francis Evelyn Liardet, an early Victorian settler whose sheep run extended over a large area of what is now the City of Alelbourneand its suburbs. The late Airs. Duigan was widely esteemed for her cheerful disposition and kindly courtesy. Of a large family of sons and daughters, the following survive:—C. L. and H. J.
