AMBASSADOR FOR N.Z. ( Per Tress Association.). AUCKLAND, June 30. Miss Esther James returned to-day from Australia after walking from Melbourne to Brisbane, a distance of 1200 miles. Under the auspices of the Country Women’s Association she lectured on New Zealand’s tourist attractions and met with great hospitality, including an offer of a camel for transport.
