Wethers, I’s, 7’s, 5 5-8 d to 6d; 3’s, 9’s, s’s, 4£d to 5 id. Ewes, I’s, 7’s, 3 7-Sd to 44d; 3’s. 9’s, s’s, 3£d to 3£d. Ox beef hinds, *3 l-8d to 3jd; fores, 2d to 2 l-Bd. Fitter and Sons, Ltd., have received the following report from their London office: Lambs: There is a little better demand. We think prices will remain steady at present quotations. Wethers: The market is short of supplies; prices nominal. Ewes: The market is dull, with little business doing. Beef: The demand is affected by low prices of chilled beef. Pork: The market is quiet and unchanged. Trade generally is quiet. New Zealand lambs, 2’s, 7}d to 7-p.l; B’s, 6 7-8 d to 7 l-8d; 4’s, Old to secondary lambs, 7 l-2d to 7 5-Bd.
