SURPRISES AT SANDWICH COTTON’S RECORD ROUND FAILURE OF SARAZEN LONDON, July 27. The first round oi the golf championship at Sandwich quickly yielded surprises. Rain fell in torrents half the morning, succeeded by a high wind.
