Aliss Joan Batten arrived in Wei* lington from Auckland this morning and was welcomed at the railway station by Captain Tweedie, aldo de camp to Lord Bledisloe, whose guest sne will be during her stay here, also by members of the executive and officers of the Wellington Aero Club, and others. She was ciicerel and made the recipient of many congratulations before leaving for Government House. Tn addition to other functions arranged, Aliss Batten will attend the ceremonies in connection with tho opening of Parliament.
