GLASGOW HALL DANCE
Dancers who are looking for an excellent night’s entertainment should not miss the gala dance to be held in the Glasgow Hall to-morrow (Thursday) night. The hall, which was built lately, is especially designed for dancing, so that even the most fastidious wil' be satisfied. There will be special decorations, while several novelty dances will add a variety to the evening’s entertainment. A special waltzing competition will be held which will be judged by Miss Vivienne Healy, who has also* arranged for a special exhibition of the foxtrot to be given by two of her pupils. Not the least of the evening's fun will be provided by the balloons and streamers which will be supplied. The dance will be an occasior in Wanganui, and it is anticipated that a large number will be present. The music will be played by the Arcadians’ Orchestra, who will be conducted by Mr. Allen Russ. Their combination of players is too well-known to require further comment, for their music speaks for itself The floor has been adjudged by competent critics as being one of the best in Wanganui. A dainty supper will be served by the ladies.
