TROTTING AT HUTT PARK The Wellington Trotting Club has been successful in its application for a permit that has become available, and it has made application to the dates committee for May 19. Air. L. S. Martin, owner of Walla Walla, lias agreed to his champion’s competing in a special race over one mile and a-quartcr. and it is understood that the owners of Harold Logan, Red Shadow, and Lindbergh have also agreed to alolw their horses to race. Glenrossie, who ran such a sterling race over the distance nt Addington, wib probably be an additional startc in the event. The programme for the meeting has not yet been drawn up, but details should be available at an early date.
