LOSS TO NEW ZEALAND K. C. JAMES GOING TO ENGLAND. BUSINESS ENGAGEMENT. [ Per Press Association. ] I WELLINGTON, April 9. Having accented the offer of a business engagement in England, K. C. James, the well-known Wellington and New Zealand cricket representative, will leave Wellington on Friday by the Rangitane for London. There will be genuine regret at the loss of another of New Zealand’s leading cricketers. The move will give him employment which he has been unable to secure in his profession in New Zealand, and in which he will pursue his studies. James does not go as a cricketer under engagement to one of the clubs in England, but his interest in the game is such that he is hound to be seen on English cricket fields.
