WHEAT CONTROL

MANITOBA LEGISLATION Received April 8, 5.5 p.m. t WINNIPEG, April 6. The Wheat Control Bill was given a third reading by the Manitoba Legislation. The Opposition Leader, Mr. Sanford , Evans, stated that he would not oppose it because Canada had already been i committed. He hoped the 1934 crop would not reach 385,000,000 bushels, so that the consequences of the Bill might be avoided. The Premier, Mr. Bracken, declared that the significance of the Bill was the , realisation that the serious wheat problem could be remedied by co-opera-tion.
