CLAIM AGAINST GERMANY. LABOUR RADICAL’S AFFIDAVIT. Received April 8, 5.5 p.m. NEW YORK, April 7. It is learned that James Larkin, the radical Labour leader, has made an affidavit admitting advance knowledge of the “Black Tom” explosion in June, 1916. in which four were killed, 100 injured, and millions of dollars worth of damage done. The affidavit has been filed with the German-American mixed claims commission at Washington, and charges made that German spies were responsible for the explosion. Larkin’s information will probably cause the reopening of ihe suit of 40,000,000 dollars damages • ag?i os t the German Government.
