TO RESTRICT IMPORTS. Action to limit the importation of flour and wheat into New Zealand has boon taken by the Wheat Purchase Board in the hope that a better clearance of Dominion products will be. effected. The board has entered into a contract with the millers, who have uniiertaken not to mix in more, than 5 per cent, of imported flour in the next six months, and 2! per cent, for the six months following. North Island millers are now using about 10 per cent, of imported flour.
