GOOD DEMAND FOR N.Z. LAMB. The Bank of Australasia is in receipt of the following cable, dated April 4, from its London office:—New Zealand lambs: Demand good. With arrivals including this month, slightly lower prices arc expected, but no material change anticipated. New Zealand mutton: .Larger supplies met with moderate demand. Lightweight steady at present prices: heavyweight weaker. Ewps also have downward tendency. Anticipate demand likely to improve when prices decline a little more.
