STRUCK BY CAR
AN ENGINEER INJURED. [ Per Press Association. ] BLENHEIM, April 5. George Brooks, night engineer at the Picton freezing work, was knocked from his bicycle by a motorist, Airs. Allen, of Wellington, last night, and sustained a fractured skull, concussion, and a broken collar-bone. His condition is serious. Airs. Allen had arrived from Wellington by the Tamahiue shortly before.
