MEAGRE GERMAN PAYMENT. Received April 1, 6.10 p.m. WASHINGTON, March 31. Of 50,000,000 dollars due to the United States on Saturday from Germany on mixed claims and army-of-occu-pation costs, the State Department received notice that 1,250,000 dollars would be paid on April 3. Actual deposit has been deferred, as Saturday and Monday are bank holidays in German y.
