They were just delighted and so was 1 with the great honour of C.W.K., and they both thank Sir Ernest Endeavour very much. “Just Dot” had her tonsils out anc went away to Waituna West to stay with her two cousins, and “Mark” u ■away at his aunt’s at Kairanga ‘‘Mark” is in Std. 11, but ‘‘Just Dot” only started before the holidays, an< she just loves school; cries if I say it’s too wet for her to go. She isn't very strong, but doctor said we shal notice a big difference in her now hei tonsils are out. I would have loved to have gone to “Aunty's” picnic, but it’s so far away, but may get to the next one. I see by the paper where some Ites went from Bulls, but we are six miles out of Bulls. The Christ mas issue was lovely, Wendy, and it was just like old times with all those pages. I see no one has made an offei of any coupons for “Mark,” but hi: aunty gave him twelve the other day so they helped a lot. Our wee boy it walking now and he has missed the two children. 1 see we had a letten from “Stranger,” C.W.K., and I an so pleased to see it. Well, dear Wendy. I must close and leave some room foi the others. Love from “Mark.” C.W.K. and “Just Dot,” C.W.K.— From “A LOVER OF WENDYITE LETTERS,” Bulls. I am very happy, dear grown-up friend to have your letter about our two Tinies. I hope “Just Dot” will forge ahead now. I believe tonsils are a serious drawback to the little folk and you have been very wise. T do wish you could attend “Aiunty’s” next picnic, f know she was simply delighted to have Ites come all the way from Bulls. The coupons are in demand evidently, for so far none have come to hand. Regards and spe cial wishes Io yon and your little ones —Wendy. “SERGEANT DAN” WINS SECOND PRIZE IN COMPETITION. Dear Wendy.—l am just writing tc you to tell you what is happening in our district.
