CROSSING ACCIDENT
TRAIN STRIKES CAR ( Per VresM Association. ) WAIPUKURAU, Dec. 23. A crossing accident occurred just beyond the Waipnwa railway station last night, a. car driven by Mr. J. Black, of Tamainu, being struck by the Napier-Palmerston passenger train. The vehicle whs much damaged, but the j driver escaped with light, injuries, be- i J ing taken to hospital at Waipukurau.
