MARTON JOCKEY CLUB

NEW YEAR MEETING LIST OF ACCEPTORS Excellent acceptances, averaging nearly thirteen a race, have been received by the Marton jockey Club for the first day of the meeting to be held on New Year’s Day, and there is reason to hope that the fixture will be accorded generous patronage. Fifteen remain in the Marton Cup, there being few defections of note from the twenty-two originally handicapped. Princess Doreen and King Thomond were the only sprinters to drop out of the Railway Handicap, while the Dash Hack Handicap (19), and the Trial Plate (18), have been particularly well supported. Following is the list of acceptors: — 11.45 RATA HACK HURLES. (Of £100; about one mile and a half).
