REMEMBER THE WIND
I remember the wind—do you! And the sky a bowl of cobalt blue— And there were only I and you — And the quaint small flowers and the earth — And the sense of deep and soundless mirth — That rose to the circle of our lips, And the shadowed sails of the lazy ships. I picked a flower to give to you— And the sky a bowl of cobalt blue—- * remember the wind—do you! —Sara Van Alstyne Allen.
