MEMORIES
CHRISTMAS is a time for memories. They rise to full l,fe and linger peacefully, like the glow in the west at the end of a summer’s day- they stir like rose petals, or leaves of the poplar in the warm north wind. Some are happy, some are sad hut all nf l^ll ♦ l £ Y ’ , comes to man when he ceases to to.l and lets the quickened race of work go by. Christmas to-day and Christmas of comparTthem and sigh at the changes Time has made; but looking backward, down the stepping stones the years have left how sweetlv Pare them really Chns mas, a toy tram was a treasure and a pop-gun could conquer the world. Now. we have but a memory left. Small it may be but t can serve us well if we think of the rest of the race that has yet to be run, and of the tiny feet that are coming behind.
