I ANOTHER LYNCHING

NEGRO YOUTH HANGED DEATH FOLLOWS ACQUITTAL BAND ACTS SECRETLY By Telegraph—Pre* Assoc : tion Copyright, Received Dec. 17. 6.30 p.m. NEW YORK, Dec. 16. A message from Columbia, Tennessee, states that a negro youth named Cord Check, was lynched to-day after being discharged by a Grund Jury on a charge of attacking a young white girl. His body was found hanged to a tree. Officials knew nothing of the lynching until it was notified afterwards by telephone. Apparently a small band executed the hanging without bothering to arouse the countryside.
