FATE OF THE PRISONERS Received Dec. 17, 6.50 p.m. LEIPZIG, Dec. 16. Herr Sachs, in a 41-hour speech, urged Torgler’s acquittal. Dimitroff declared that the Court should recognise the innocence of Popoff, Taneff, Torglcr and himself, and regard van der Lubbe as the misused tool of the enemies of the workers. The sentences will be promulgated on December 23.
