The following have been nominated for the Manawatu Cup, of £400; 1£ miles. — Gold Trail, Forestry, Saltpot, Gibraltar, Palm Queen, Melisande, Aga Khan, Desert Star, Chopin, Alloy, Tiger Gain, Revision, Miladi, Count Palatine, Constant Sun, Grand Jury, Vertigern, Fairway, McHcath, Baroscope, Arikira, AH Humbug, Brambletorn, Copper King, Esteem, Arrow Lad, Plateau, Atholspear. After declaration of first forfeit the following remain in the Palmerston North Stakes, of £250; six furlong: Autopay, Porotiti, Inverpsk. Inflation, Scholar, Wahroonga, Morbury, Diatomous, Souchong.
