Pleading guilty to a charge of bigamy, a man whose name was ordered to be suppressed, was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. The police stated that defendant admitted having married a woman in England in January, 1920, and went through a form of marriage in Petone this year. Counsel for accused said that Ibe marriage was a war one, and the woman was his wife only by the barest technicality. Be did not live with her and did not mc*t her after the marriage. They had not corresponded for 13 years. Bad was allowed.
