TRAGEDY OF TIGHT COLLAR How a man who had attempted to commit suicide by cutting his wrist, with a razor blade died from asphyxia caused by a tight collar, was described at a Dublin inquest recently. The man, aged 28 to 30, was found dead in his bedroom at a Dublin hotel, where ho had registered as “R. A. Masters of Torrington Square, London, W.t.'.” The police, however, stated that the man had not stayed at that address for the past two years. A sergeant of the Civic Guard stated that ho found the man with a cut on his wrist, and near him whs a safety razor blade, but a doctor gave evidence that death was due to asphyxia, caused by the cxeeedingly-tight linen collar the man was wearing.
