THE LONDON SALES. FINER QUALITIES FIRM. LONDON, Dec. 1. At the wool sales 10,177 bales were offered, including 4903 from New Zealand. Approximately 8170 bales were sold. Competition was well sustained for finer growths, which realised full rates, but inferiors and faulties showed no improvement. Withdrawals continued. Scoured Merinos, New Zealand, Tiko, top 28Ad, average 27Ad; greasy crossbreds, Ahuiaj 16d; Dome, 13d and 11 7-Bd.
