LYTTELTON ELECTORATE

MR. FREEMAN A CANDIDATE [ Per Press Association. J CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. 4. Mr. F. W. Freeman is announced as a candidate for the Lyttelton electorate. He describes himself as a supporter of the Coalition Party unpledged to any question, and he proposes to ask for recognition as the official Coalition candidate. At the last general election, standing in the Coalition interest, he was defeated by only 32 votes. Mr. Freeman is by profession a civil engineer, and is a member of the executive of the South Island Motor Union and of the Heathcote County Council.
