WANGANUI CLUB RUN OUT AT GONVILLE Members of the Wanganui Harrier Club are to meet to-day at the residence of Mrs. W. Carr, 42 Bignell Street, Gonville. It is understood that a scaled handicap race is to be held over a six-mile course comprising flat and swampy country. The event is to start at 2.30 o’clock. Trains may be taken from the Post Office, via Koromiko Road, Whether the event to be held this afternoon will be a sealed handicap or not could not be definitely ascertained last evening. It is to be hoped that, while the leading members of the club run under these conditions, the pack system will be used for tho slower members. —‘ ‘Jog-Trot.”
